JUNE 2020 NEWLETTER

Dear Residents:

As beautiful days are now upon us, I would like to remind you of that the Village Council takes great pride in our community, as we know you as Residents do as well. We all strive to make the Village an attractive &
healthy place to live & work. For this reason, the Village Council previously passed an ordinance making it unlawful for any owner or occupant of any lot or parcel to not periodically cut grass & weeds (Ordinance 2014-14). Please keep this in mind as we begin to see the our lawns grow because of all the rain we’ve had in the recent days.

Along the same lines, the Village Council has also previously passed an ordinance making it unlawful for any owner or occupant of any lot or parcel, not to store a junk or abandoned motor vehicle (Ordinance 2016-19) & an ordinance prohibiting the accumulation of junk, rubbish or other refuse of any kind on private property (Beaverdam Municipal Code Section 93.41).

Village Council has rescheduled our Cleanup Day for May 30, 2020. This will give all residents a chance to clean up any junk or rubbish that may need disposed of. The roll off containers will be on the North side of North Street, behind Mid-Town Market. They will be available from 8:00am – 1:00pm.

Just as a reminder the Council Meetings are the 1st & 3rd Tuesdays of each month at 7:00pm. Everyone is welcome. We hope to see you there!

Sincerely,

Pamela LePine, Mayor
